Please share something about yourself, your work, and what draws you to the Inclusion Network online community.
I have been involved with Citizen Advocacy in Georgia since 1993.
What part of the world do you live in? Would you share a bit about your neighbourhood?
I live and work in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Atlanta has some of the most diverse communities in the Southern United States. We also have some of the fastest growing communities in the nation with large counties growing faster than our infrastructure can keep up. My neighborhood, like many here, has seen some transition. But we call it home, and hope others will too.
What would you like to contribute to this community? What would you like to receive?
Citizen Advocacy is one way to ensure social inclusion for people who have disability labels in Atlanta. I'd like to continue the opportunity to provide world class support and conversation to people in Atlanta about what is happening around the world surrounding social inclusion.
How did you hear about this community?
Colleagues and friends.
What are some of the questions you'd like to explore, or conversations you'd like to have with others in this community?
I would appreciate exploring what the future of inclusion could mean in our community. I would enjoy a conversation about how to continue to tell stories of real life people making inclusion happen.
