Please share something about yourself, your work, and what draws you to the Inclusion Network online community.
I am the mother of three children, two of whom have learning exceptionality, My oldest has Down Syndrome and my middle child is a gifted child. This motivated me to work in Education and inclusion 21 years ago. I founded and managed The Baby Academy in Egypt, the first chain of preschool centers that advocates for inclusion in the region as well as adopts inclusion principles in practice.
I am currently enrolled in the Masters Program in Developmental Psychology & Education in the Univesity of Toronto and would like to further explore and polish my knowledge and contribution in the educational inclusion field.
What part of the world do you live in? Would you share a bit about your neighbourhood?
I am currently living between Cairo, Egypt and Toronto, Canada.
What would you like to contribute to this community? What would you like to receive?
I would like to contribute both my practical and parental experience and eventually my researches and fieldwork.
As to what I would like from the network, it is mostly the sharing of information and resources and learning opportunity.
