I am the mother of a young man who lives with autism. I am a person centred champion.
What part of the world do you live in? Would you share a bit about your neighbourhood?
I live in Australia in regional NSW. So online information is great as I cant afford to get to Sydney or Melbourne .
What would you like to contribute to this community? What would you like to receive?
I would like to share some of my experiences and gain some information and knowledge from others here. Also some resources for workshops for other parents would be good;
and the opportunity to find supportive experiences when the going gets tough
How did you hear about this community?
Serendipity found me the website though I had seen Beth Mount on youtube and read some of Jack Pierponts work.
What are some of the questions you'd like to explore, or conversations you'd like to have with others in this community?
Issues around the dignity of risk ; tips and strategies for using person centred approaches with people who do not use verbal language.; overcoming the resistance in many paid support workers

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:( firstname.lastname@example.org ) for the full details.
