I am a Lead Training Consultant with a Third Sector charity called Thistle Foundation my 'day' job involves facilitation of frontline staff training, induction etc. I also facilitate person centred plans especially Big Plans with young disabled people and their families. I also do external training from time to time.
What part of the world do you live in? Would you share a bit about your neighbourhood?
I live in Edinburgh, Scotland in a working class neighbourhood called Niddrie. My company work with people with long term health conditions in the area and Edinburgh and we support disabled people in and around the city. Our training based on asset-based, person centred approaches is delivered across the country.
What would you like to contribute to this community? What would you like to receive?
I am happy to share my learning from the work I do with families and frontline staff. The benefits and challenges of working in a truly person centred way. Particularly keen to share experience around large group person centred planning.
