I am a single mother of three. I am also a 360 navigator for Parent to Parent of Georgia, and I work with a small volunteer based non-profit organization that provides free respite care, among other supports, for all children and adults with special needs and their typically developing siblings. www.connectabilityinc.org
What would you like to contribute to this community? What would you like to receive?
I would like to share my experiences and learn from other people as I discover how to be a better advocate for not only my own child with special needs, but also for other children and adults with developmental disabilities. I would like to learn how to better use the PATH not only for myself but other people in my community. I am also trying to learn to look at the world, and my community, with a new set of eyes so I can see where I can make a difference in making my community a more inclusive place for all people.
Welcome to the Inclusion Network - a way to connect with other folks who share a deep commitment to full inclusion; to discover and/or share resources; to blog; to post; to participate in a wide range of discussions and topics - including those you create.
