Please share something about yourself, your work, and what draws you to the Inclusion Network online community.
IMy name is Renee, my work role is a circle facilitator for people who live with disability. I have embraced SRV as a sole prinicipal for which I base my work around as do the other facilitators with whom strive to build and strengthen relationships for people who have a disability. We believe that freely given relationships are the key to community inclusion.
What would you like to contribute to this community? What would you like to receive?
I would like to contribute my learnings of SRV and my experiences with working alonside people who have a disability and what a 'good life' can look like for people who have been shut out and 'done to'.
I would like to recieve knowledge and inspiration from people who strive to make inclusion and a 'good life' a goal for people who are not generaly 'valued' in our society.
How did you hear about this community?
From researching o'brien and o'brien
What are some of the questions you'd like to explore, or conversations you'd like to have with others in this community?
How do we strive to help build and strengthen relationships for people who have disabilities with people who don't?
How do we successfully act as role models to community who don't understand the importance of freely given relationships?
