American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) will host its 2016 Annual Conference in Seattle, Washington from March 17-22, 2016 at the Westin Hotel and Conference Center.
The Fred Riggs International Symposium will be hosted on Friday, March 18 followed by a Welcome Reception with new President-Elect Susan Gooden of Virginia Commonwealth University.
The International Chapter will meet on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 12:30-1:45 pm with David Simpson and Guilo de Tommaso. The session will also be available as a webinar.
Allan Bergman and Julie Ann Racino will join university colleagues in gender and diversity, and international cultures (e.g., Korea) in a Culture and Diversity in the Workplace Panel. Allan Bergman will lead the presentation on Employment First, a new national initiative in the US (i.e. targeted disability initiative).
The Public Administration and Disability Committee will meet on Sunday, March 20 from 7:00-8:15 am to discuss community services administration in the US, and vote on whether to pursue a Permanent Section at ASPA. Julie Ann Racino and Allan Bergman are Committee Co-Chairs for 2015-2016.
