My heartfelt condolences to the friends, family and colleagues of Steve Taylor who dedicated his life to making a difference in the world and doing the right thing. The Center on Human Policy announced a Memorial Service for Steven J.Taylor to be held 4 pm on January 16, 2015 at Hendrick's Chapel at Syracuse University. Rsvp to the firstname.lastname@example.org with Cyndy Colavita and Rachael Zubal in the front office. Donations can be made to the Legacy Fund for Disability Studies and Human Policy.
Dr. Taylor was mainstreaming, integration, and inclusion, from the beginning being far in advance of any new or developing concept; he supported families for all children, self-advocacy in its truest sense, and adults with disabilities in homes, home ownership and support services. With a deep sadness, I bid him adieu, and know his decades of work will continue to be felt in national and international circles.
