That is so great that you are doing a reading at the Scotland Institute! I must get to Scotland! Anyway, I'm attaching an "Essentials to Hosting" document that we started to develop whilst in TSI 2011. As for the way you break it up, it really doesn't matter. We break it into 3 sections, as you know, and I can give you the page breakdowns if you want them. Have a great time and send lots of pictures.
I'm down in Devon, so not a million miles away! If you ever head this way it would be good to link up, likewise if I head in your direction I would appreciate a little sharing time. I have a friend in Dumfries and Galloway country so may make it before too long.
We had a great Waddie Welcome reading on MLK Day, very powerful.
Looks like a great read..
You might want to post them on the waddie welcome facebook site as well - found via waddiewelcome.com
I'd be more helpful 0- but in Alaska - and tight time line.

Hey there.. glad to see you have joined the 'Big Read'. It is a shockingly powerful experience - at least it has been for us each time. Our species has almost forgotten that we 'grew up' being read to - and that alone connects deeply. When we add the content of Waddie - there are weeks/months - a lifetime of discussions that could follow. Anyway - that's our experience.

Many thanks for the friends request being a newbie to the network! It is good to see several Scots appearing here alonside so many respected colleagues from North America and beyond. Once I get more familiar I'll start joining some of the groups.
Good morning..
Trust you are thriving in the gloaming..
If you haven't already - do check out the Waddie Welcome read stuff - it is great - and you will love it.. Just read the book.. OUT LOUD - with your friends. It's an amazing experience - and its easy. a VERY good 'organizing' tool as the conversations that follow are very wide ranging.. Have fun..
Hope to see you.. 2011

THANKS for telling others about this network! It is so neat to hear about people that are coming here as a result of your recomendation! YOU are great! - Beck
Hi Linda, sorry to hear about your Mum but glad she appears to be better.
We are fine although I am crazy busy as ever! Aaron's Circle has been arranged for Sat 5th Dec, I don't know if you would be in London & able to consider attending. Alternatively would you be in London any e.g. Monday to meet with Aaron's admin person and any PA's to discuss some of the issues in relation to community connectedness and sharing gifts etc? Just an idea, any other ideas will be so much appreciated, even if it doesn't include you being present ;~)
Hope your back is now much better, Best wishes,
M xx
Good morning my dear....I am well ....... re-defining my BIG PLAN ...... moving slowly towards what that might be..... I always get a bit manic before Thanksgiving so I'm enjoying that for a little while..... still trying to plan a trip...hope all is well at work and in the new home........love you! m
Hi Linda - Nice to see your comment! You are right - we need more of YOU here on this network! What are you up to these days? It would be fantastic to read a blog post from you about a recent story, experience, questions that is a part of life for you. Hope to hear from you soon! - Beck
From Herne hill if you walk along Railton rd and before the junction with Coldharbour Lane on the left there's a cafe on Atlantic road called the Lounge. this is a favorite of Aaron's and if it's too busy there are alot of other cafes in that area. I look forward to seeing you there on the 24th at 12.30ish.
Hi Linda,
Glad to hear that you will be in London so soon and just across the park from where we live. I could definately do the 24th anytime from 12.30pm. I don't have any specific expectations but it would be useful to share some of what I'm doing to enable my son to continue to have an interesting life nd be more independent of me! Then if you have any suggestion I'd love to hear them. My son currently has no PA's on Saturdays and so I'm pretty sure you will meet him which might help your thoughts on any people in London he might link up with.
Do call/txt me when you are in London & I'll send you our address or we can meet for lunch if you prefer.

HI LInda, had tried to add you as a friend so I wouldnt have to leave this as a comment.
I have been reading about the community circle you are involved in and wondered if we could have a chat sometime?
I am currently working for GAMH and am at the earliest stages of thinking about developing a circle here in Partick where I am based.
Would be good to catch up with you and learn from your experience.
Hope you are well,
Rose
Saw the photos of our reading.
